What happens during a Moroccan bath

Step by step through a Moroccan bath ritual: black soap, the kessa scrub, the foam wash and the massage after it.

Black soap

The ritual starts with warm water and black soap, a soft olive oil soap that prepares the skin for the scrub.

The kessa scrub

The therapist scrubs the whole body with a textured kessa glove. It removes dead skin and leaves the skin smooth.

Foam wash and massage

A foam wash rinses and relaxes. A body massage follows while the muscles are still warm, so you need less pressure to relax.

Good to know

Tell us about sensitive skin before you book. Plan a quiet hour after the ritual and drink water.
