The short answer
Choose Swedish massage to relax and lower stress. Choose deep tissue when specific muscles feel tight, knotted or sore after training or long hours at a desk.
Swedish massage
Long, flowing strokes with balanced pressure across the whole body. It calms the nervous system and improves circulation.
It suits a first massage, a tired week or a day after a flight.
Deep tissue massage
Slower strokes and firmer pressure that reach the deeper layers of muscle. The therapist works longer on one area, often the back, neck, shoulders, hips or legs.
Some pressure can feel intense. Tell the therapist your comfort level and they adjust it.
Still not sure
Book 90 minutes and ask for a relaxing full body massage with deeper work on one problem area. You can also message us your goal and we suggest the format.
